The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, announced that over 100,000 teachers in Romania will develop their skills in digital pedagogy, with the support of an 80 million euro fund allocated through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This initiative aims to prepare teachers to integrate technology more effectively in the teaching process. Deca stressed that the digitalization of education requires teachers competent in the use of digital methods and signed, together with representatives of higher education institutions and other training providers, the contracts for 18 winning projects. These projects are part of the call "Digital Pedagogy for Teachers in Pre-university Education" and represent an important step in improving teachers' capacity to adopt modern technologies in the classroom. This measure is part of the Ministry of Education's ongoing efforts to modernize the education system and prepare teachers for the challenges of the future, ensuring an education more adapted to the digital needs of students.
